Dear Friend of St. John Academy,

St. John Academy is looking forward to another golf event this year and I wanted to personally invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 8:00am at Raspberry Falls in Leesburg, Virginia. I encourage all gentlemen and ladies who enjoy a day filled with fun, food, and friends to attend this golfing adventure in God's beautiful country.

It is a wonderful way to support our parish school as it provides essential support for the education of our students. We are a growing community and we need your participation to make this event successful.

Please consider one or more of these ways to participate:

1. Join us golfing on Tuesday, June 14, at Raspberry Falls (there will be breakfast, warm up at the range, lunch, a snack bar while you golf, freebies and raffle items. $250 per player. 8:00am Registration; 9:00am Shot gun start.

1. Be a proud sponsor of the golf tourney and leave your mark on one of the golf holes (we will provide a sign with your personal ad or company logo). We ask for donations of $300 - $500—this is a great commitment to our parish school and our Catholic education.

1. Be a donor: commit a donation of your desired amount toward the golf event. We accept all donations—great things begin with small sacrifices.

1. Be a spiritual participant: please consider praying the St. Thomas Aquinas prayer on the back of this letter. We ask you to say it once a day for 9 days before June 14, 2011 to enrich the minds of our students. Post it nearby for your reminder. Every transformation of the mind begins with prayer; this is a great gift to our students.

Thank you for your considerations and for your continuing support. Please know that the school community will offer their personal Mass intentions on June 3rd at 9:00am and Rosary on June 1st 10:30am for you, the community of St. John the Beloved.
