As a class service project, one classroom per month collects disposable diapers for HOPE.

 SHARE Food Drives

Every year at Thanksgiving, the SJA Student Council collects canned goods for SHARE, a community food bank. Food is also collected for families at other times during the year, as needed, during emergency situations.

 Operation Rice Bowl

During Lent, the eighth grade conducts a drive to collect money for various charities adopted by the parish and diocese. The drive culminates in a Hunger Banquet for the seventh and eighth grades at the end of Lent.

 Crisis Support

As crises develop throughout the nation and around the world, SJA students help meet human need by organizing various projects and fundraising efforts. Recent projects include collecting money for victims of hurricane Katrina, tsunami relief, and efforts to support U.S. military troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
